AUTUMN SPLENDOR on WOODEN PANELS consists of two original hand-painted impressionistic 4"x8" watercolor paintings featuring abstract fall foliage in delicious autumn colors. I mounted the paintings onto wooden cradled .75" oval panels with heavy gel matte; then finished them off by applying several coats of protective clear wax, also giving it a slight sheen. The paintings were done on Arches 140 lb. cold-pressed watercolor paper with Daniel Smith professional watercolor paints. No further framing needed -- you simply have the happy task of finding the ideal spot to display this splash of autumn.

I'm obsessed with these unique oval elongated wood panels -- and they lend themselves to so many creative ideas! Celebrate the glorious colors of fall with these two eye-catching pieces that work together so well.
